This nice little hand rest gives you the support to paint on a flat surface or a canvas. It is flat with little legs so it will not roll around like other Mahl sticks. It hangs on the top of your canvas or sits above your project on a table never touching the object you are painting.
Use it on flat plates and wood items
Use it on your canvas paintings. This simply makes your painting easier and gives you much more control. Provides stationary arm support so you can capture that fine detail! The Old Masters used to use a Mahl Stick as seen below in this painting, you see the stick with the red end. These were fine but they had a tendency to roll and move.
Available in two sizes, 12" and 18" Size 18 fits up to a 16x20 canvas.
